WELCOME TO WILMONT
The Wilshire-Montana Neighborhood Coalition (www.WILMONT.org) is a city-recognized, non-profit community group working to make our neighborhoods and our city safer, cleaner, stronger and better since 1990. Join us.
TIME TO JOIN/RENEW FOR 2026!
Our next meeting is scheduled for TUESDAY, February 3rd from 7-8:30 pm.
Santa Monica has a new Mayor, a new Chief of Police, a new realignment plan and plenty of challenges as we head into Election year 2026. Wilmont faces challenges, too. The Council has placed new restrictions on how we spend any grant money that comes our way. Bottom line: We need to find new ways to pay for our website, Mailchimp, Zoom, insurance and other basic expenses every volunteer group incurs. We also need savvy social media and PR help, as well as event planning, set-up and outreach. Contact us at [email protected]
Thank you. --Your Wilmont Board of Directors

MODE Dial-A Ride Service for Older Adults
Big Blue Bus has partnered with Lyft to provide on-demand services to replace the Dial-A-Ride program for older adults and people with disabilities living in Santa Monica. The new service is called MODE (Mobility On-Demand Every Day), and will improve curb-to-curb and door-through-door transportation. Lyft’s flexible transportation service network will allow MODE to meet the high demand for service during peak times when members are most interested in traveling while increasing efficiency when the demand for transportation decreases. To learn more about the program, visit bigbluebus.com/mode.
