Tue Sep 6, 2022 meeting: MEET the City Council candidates

Wilmont members, residents and friends,
Join us on Tuesday September 6th from 7-8:30 PM via Zoom to hear from 11 of the 12 SM city council candidates (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81283538019?pwd=K2xjNHdQYk1RWW5uUGZibnR5Ly82Zz09)
for the three positions open for the SM City Council. We have asked them to discuss their top three city
priorities and why they selected them in a three-minute presentation. Q&A will be via chat and based
on available time. The SM City Council election on November 8 th as always, is the most important in
terms of the city’s future. Ballots will start being sent on October 10 th . Be ready and don’t let someone
else decide for you. Recycle those slate mailers; they are just paid ads; look for the asterisk* to see who
paid; they are not endorsements. Please learn about the city council candidates via this Wilmont

We hope you will join us for Wilmont’s summer finale of our Fourth Friday Festival on September 23 rd .
We will have live music starting at 6 PM at Reed Park from Andrew Browning and the 9 Pound
Hammers. At dusk we will be showing an outdoor movie of the “The Sandlot”. Bring your beach/camp
chairs, blankets, picnics and/or snacks and enjoy an evening outside. We appreciate the past and
ongoing support of the SMPD and POA.
Finally, Wilmont will be holding its annual meeting for members on December 3 at the Reed Auditorium
at Reed Park. This is a members only meeting so please join at www.wilmont.org or look for our annual
newsletter that will have a membership form/envelope for you to join at the later part of September.
We are dependent on your dues. They haven’t been increased in the past 10 years so very affordable
AND very important to have you as our member communicating and supporting the Wilmont Montana
Neighborhood Coalition (Wilmont).
