4TH OF JULY PARADE INFO - THU JULY 2024

Dear Wilmont Members, Neighbors and Friends,
MARCH WITH WILMONT IN SANTA MONICA’S 4TH OF JULY PARADE!
The Wilshire Montana Neighborhood Coalition invites you to MARCH WITH US as all seven neighborhood groups walk together in Thursday’s 4th of July Parade down Main Street. It’s a fun and easy stroll of only 1.3 miles and ends at the big beach parking lots. It’s a family-friendly event that draws people all over town, and it’s also a great opportunity to promote Wilmont’s THREE “Second Saturdays” featuring free live music and movies and free popcorn and lemonade for kids. Come march with us! Here's what you need to know: 

1) Meet us at the staging area on Main Street near the Civic between 8:00am-9:00am. The parade starts at 9:30am sharp, and we want to get everyone signed up early.
2) You must fill out this waiver form before you can march. You can print and fill it out beforehand and bring it with you, or fill one out at the parade site, but every marcher needs to sign the waiver.

3) Wear patriotic Red, White, & Blue attire. NO campaign wear, buttons, signs, etc., are allowed per parade rules. 

4) We will be marching on foot, but it’s an easy stroll of 1.3 miles.
5) Park at the Civic Center lot or Beach Lots 4 and 5. Or take public transportation.

6) Bring sunscreen and water! All friends and family are welcome to march with us.
