City Council:
The City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1685 Main Street, Santa Monica. Agendas for meetings can be found on City website.
To email all Councilmembers you can use: [email protected]. We recommend you also email the City Clerk with your comments because all written comments, emailed to [email protected], by 12 noon on the day of the City Council meeting will be DISTRIBUTED to the City Council prior to the meeting and posted online. We strongly recommend sending emails to individual council members email addresses as well.
1. SUBJECT LINE: Put the following THREE THINGS in the subject line: 1) AGENDA ITEM # (Such as '7-A'), 2) ITEM TITLE, (Such as 'Civic Auditorium Remodel') and 3) The DATE of the MEETING.
2. If you send an INDIVIDUAL email, you are much more likely to get a response.
Examples: Dear Mayor Himmelrich / Dear Commissioner Anderson
